This is dumb
WHAT women running around screaming?
"Lord Ricardo overestimates it, we are not shutting down webcomics because we're afraid"
Dude, I was talking about the women running around screaming...
BTW, I shut down the IRC chan cause you are all afraid
One of the most heartbreaking things I've seen during all this week's coverage is the interview abc had with Howard Lutnick, the CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, a company who had 700 workers in the WTC. None of those have been found.
The man breaks down so completely, it's just tear-wrenching. Every time I watch it, my eyes glisten.
It's a real fucking shame.

Normal strips should resume on Monday.
Plugs: BangsBoy has become Kiss, a new comic featuring an...alternate universe clone of the BangsBoy supporting cast member.... something like that.
Check it out, Sean Walters has been doing all sorts of different comics recently, and this one has promise. (Not that: a- I am any judge, and b- It hasn't been good before)
Okay. Try and have a nice weekend, everyone.

Donate
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I just donated $20 to the Red Cross through the above link. I strongly suggest that you too donate anything you can, even a dollar helps.
To continue from earlier, of course we can not spend every moment of every day thinking about this, but not even 48 hours have passed since the morning of terror began. It is not even near the time to stop mourning, and I hope no one does just yet.
Remember, please donate. God bless.

Lord Ricardo overestimates it, we are not shutting down webcomics because we're afraid, it's out of sympathy and sadness for the victims. In a way, we are all a victim. This has been totally different from anything that "happens all around the world every day". If a building is blown up in Israel, it's part of the battles going on there. This was an attack on the United States of America, the greatest country in the whole damned world, and we have done nothing to deserve it.
Those of you who say that we deserved it by not keeping enough security have just got no point. Anyone who thinks we deserved it for not doing anything with the overseas incidents have got no point either.
More to blog later...

Yes I think we should mourn, remember, and observe this day, but our lives will go on. We cannot spend every second of every day thinking about what has happened. This happens all around the world every day, but we never really think about it, but if we thought about all the innocent deaths in the world, we would not have time o stop them or live happy lives. So mourn and move on! Stopping and dropping everything is only what a terrorist wants. Running around screamind and panicking even though you're not directy affected, is just what a terrorist wants!
Yes, humor will relieve ppl, i think ppl are overreacting waay too much, it shows just how sheepish americans really are, i mean yeah im all for kickin the ppl who did this straight in the nutt0rz, and yay patrionism, but ppl do not need to run around a room screaming, having heartattacks, and stressing out. This stuff happens all around the world, just not here. Innocent lives die by the thousands every damn day. Open the damn sites!
BTW, we're at THREATCON Delta claims an MT board junkie.
We send our condolences out to the families of victims in the multiple disasters that have occurred today. It is a travesty of humanity, and I think that it would be considerate for every eligible person to donate at their local blood bank. I can only hope that America can come together after this tragedy, and that we must only become stronger.
God Bless America.

Okay, comic done. Now go check out The Wallimer Experience, a brand-spankin-new webcomic from Tariq De Vore of Ban the Basics and Victims of the System cameo fame. Tariq takes his awesome drawing skillz to the color world with this comic, which is just beautiful ::sniff sniff::.
Really. It's kewl.
I might just have to drag him into my strip again.
Boy oh boy, it's comic thinkin up time!
